A perspective born of practice… and of experience

I am a speech-language pathologist.
Trained in the close observation of how the brain, language and regulatory mechanisms work.

In my work, I have learned to listen to what is not always said directly.

To notice the adjustments, the compensations, the quiet vulnerabilities.

To understand that what shows on the surface is often only the visible part of a wider balance.

But this perspective was not built only from books or training courses.

Chronic illness pushed me to go further.

To experience from the inside what it means to have a body that compensates for a long time.

To go through periods when everything seemed “fine” on paper,
while lived experience told a different story.

I set out to understand.

To connect what is too often kept apart:

the rhythm of daily life, the nervous system, immunity, recovery, ordinary everyday life.

Little by little, this shift in perspective became a necessity.
For me.

Then for the people I supported.

Essalya was born from this journey.
What Essalya offers
Essalya is neither a program,
nor a method,
nor a promise of healing.

Essalya offers a space for understanding.

A space to:

  • learn to read what the body is expressing in a new way,
  • understand the mechanisms of wear and compensation,
  • connect symptoms to the way the body works as a whole,
  • bring meaning where there was sometimes only worry.

Here, we don’t force the body.
We don’t try to optimize.
We learn to cooperate.
Our mission

Essalya’s mission is to create a space of clarity around the body and health.

A space to understand the terrain,
spot what supports or weakens it over time
and regain a fair margin for action, without wearing yourself out fighting against yourself.

The aim is not to replace medical care. It is to complement it.
Essalya aims to train people who are more aware of what they are going through,
able to observe better,
to put their sensations into words more clearly
and to work more calmly with care when it is needed.

Because understanding what is happening in your body
profoundly changes the way you go through illness,
and sometimes, the way you go through life itself.

Who Essalya is for
Essalya is for those who:

  • experience persistent fatigue or fragility,
  • live with a chronic illness or diffuse symptoms,
  • want to understand without getting lost in conflicting advice,
  • are looking for a respectful, rigorous and human view of the body.

Whether you feel well.
Whether you feel tired.
Or whether you are going through a harder time.
You can move forward here at your own pace.
