When the body speaks and the brain interprets

What you feel is not always a true reflection of your body.

We often assume that bodily sensations speak for themselves. Fatigue would simply signal a lack of energy.

The pain would indicate a damaged area.

Tension would appear when an effort exceeds our capabilities.

This view seems obvious.

It corresponds to the idea that the body directly transmits its information and that we perceive it as it is.

However, research conducted in recent years on the internal perception of the body tells a more subtle story.
